A while back, we installed a new kitchen sink and cabinets. What remained was to fill in the backsplash. We thought of the children creating handmade tiles.

Kevin Nierman of Kids n Clay in Berkeley came in and helped several children hand paint the tiles. He then took the tiles back to his studio, glazed them, and fired them. He and his staff also custom made tiles to include our name and logo.
